COVID-19 and Acton Up Kitten Rescue

We here at Acton Up Kitten Rescue are firmly in the camp of prepare for the worst hope for the best.

Because of this, we've been watching the world wide pandemic (the WHO has just declared it such today 11 mar 2020) closely for how it would impact us on a local level and hoping for the best.

In light of the current CDC declarations to minimize social interactions, and in light of the current declared emergencies by both Los Angeles County and the state of California, we have decided after much thought to suspend inviting people over for adoption meet and greets.

We will still be rescuing kitties and cats on need on a case by case basis, but for now, we are suspending our adoption activities until the CDC and other reliable health authorities indicate it is safe to do otherwise.

Everyone and yours stay safe,  here are some helpful links that are fact based regarding the COVID-19 situation from reputable sources.
